Matside Wrestling Co. is founded and operated by Daniel Emmons. We run events and build software from inside the sport, partnering with tournament directors who carry event-level insurance and own volunteer coordination, while we bring the bracket, scoring, and live-results infrastructure.

Daniel Emmons, Owner and President of Matside Wrestling Co., has been involved in the sport since his elementary school days in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a father of wrestlers and an active coach and booster, Daniel recognized the need for better tools in the wrestling community, and built Matside to fill that gap.
Matside Wrestling Co. operates across two areas: tournament facilitation and wrestling-specific software development. Grounded in firsthand experience, the company is uniquely positioned to create solutions that move the sport forward.
Based near Pittsburgh, the heart of wrestling country, Daniel lives with his wife Celia, children Will, Ana, and West, and their dogs George and Dayton.

Mason Manville, Chief Mat Officer at Matside Wrestling Co., has been immersed in the sport of wrestling for over two decades, from the youth mats to the world stage. A two-time U.S. National Team member and 2017 World Championship representative in Greco-Roman, Mason brings elite-level perspective to everything Matside does.
Before competing at Penn State and on the senior circuit, Mason was one of the most decorated prep wrestlers in the country: a UWW Cadet World Champion, Youth Olympic silver medalist, four-time Pan-American champion, and two-time National Prep champion, among numerous other titles. His coaching career has included stints at North Allegheny, Tiger Wrestling Club, and most recently St. Stephen's & St. Agnes School.
Based in the Northern Virginia area, Mason lives with his wife Amanda and their children Eden and Shepard.
